L.Knighton is a global executive search firm specialising within the capital markets, both on the buy-side and sell-side. The brief was simple, create something that was reflective of the industry, a global business that is looking to attract the brightest people in the banking arena.

This was a difficult project. Honestly. It took Loop several rounds of designs and reviews with our clients to get to a logo design that worked for the brand. Our clients wanted something that wasn’t typically ‘magic’ but something that created a sense of mystery and intrigue.

The chosen concept focused on the mental side of the magicians act. That point when the viewers brain is tricked into believing what Joel is telling the audience. We focused our design efforts on creating a deconstructed brain, something that would illustrate the human mind in a beautiful way.

The chosen logo design was called the de-constructed brain. We wanted to create an illusion with symbolic meaning that would somehow represent the users mind whilst watching the magic take place.
