The London Vaccine Institute

The St George’s Vaccine Institute is an independent, non-commercial, academic institution, which is part of St George’s, University of London and is co-located, and works closely with, the Clinical Research Facility @ St. George’s University Hospital NHS Trust. It focuses on the epidemiology of vaccine-preventable diseases, human clinical trials of paediatric, pregnancy and adult vaccines and also studies vaccines against infectious diseases plaguing the most underprivileged members of the world.

The Brief

Loop were briefed to completely redesign the Vaccine Institute website. This meant reviewing all existing content, planning the new site structure and design and then implementing as quickly as possible. The website contains super important clinical research, so it needed to be super easy to navigate and even easier to update.  We produced photography, full marketing and social communications.

Since launch last month (August) there are currently over 4k visits a month to the new site. The study for the UK trials of Covid Vaccine on pregnant women has been heavily promoted on the Guardian website. This launching study was also promoted on the GOV.co.uk website under ‘New study into COVID-19 vaccine dose interval for pregnant women‘ This was a brilliant project to be involved with, it’s close to home and it feels good to be in someway helping to improve the COVID-19 situation for others.

We had a fantastic experience with Loop Digital. Stu and his team designed our website in no time and exactly as we wanted it. Stu was very responsive, super helpful and friendly. He is very talented and supported us from beginning to end. I highly recommend him. Thanks Stu!!’
