Launched in November of 2010, Path has grown to include over one million people sharing life with close friends and family all over the world. The company is headquartered in downtown San Francisco.

Path is a small social network that’s been around since November 2010. Originally the idea was to limit users’ networks to no more than 50 people. Everyone basically ignored it. But then it opened up the gates a bit this past November, allowing people to add up to 150 friends. It also rolled out a new interface. And suddenly it caught fire. But the key wasn’t that it expanded to let you include more people. It was, conversely, that it’s new design became more intimate. Path is the interface of intimacy.

My New Favourite Film

The first Nitro Circus the Movie 3D Trailer – Travis Pastrana and the whole Nitro Circus crew are back together in a truly LEPICDARY (epic n’ legendary) action packed 3D film.

Expect the impossible, ridiculous, insane, hysterical, and purely awesome! I guess my wife won’t be coming to watch it with me.

Daylight Fireworks

At the Arab Museum of Modern Art in Doha, Chinese artist Cai Guo-Qiang put on his largest explosion event of the last three years. Each set of explosions was calculated to paint a different picture. One series of explosions created black smoke clouds that looked like “drops of ink splattered across the sky.”

EEl 3D Mapping Multiplayer game

EELS is an R&D project developed at B-Reel London. It combines various technologies into a multiplayer game experience where people can control their virtual EEL projected on a physical installation.

People could participate by using their mobile devices, using an HTML5 interface to provide direct control over their EEL.

Watching people interact with the installation and running around it during game play was great to see, and a lot of fun!
