So yesterday, in their infinite wisdom The British Court has ruled that UK ISPs must block access to the popular file-sharing website, The Pirate Bay. ISPs like – Virgin Media, O2, Everything Everywhere, Sky, TalkTalk will now stop people from accessing the file-sharing website

Virgin Media said “As a responsible ISP, Virgin Media complies with court orders addressed to the company but strongly believes that changing consumer behaviour to tackle copyright infringement also needs compelling legal alternatives, such as our agreement with Spotify, to give consumers access to great content at the right price.”

I think this is such a mistake has to been seen as the beginning of censorship here in the uk. Does the british court actually think that web consumers would stil find a way round this ban? It seems so very out of touch with what is actually going on online in the UK today.

Idiots.

A new campaign from Sony in Japan to promote a Tom Tom type navigation system – sing in the car and upload to the site. It doubles up as an audition to be included in the final cut which will become the TVC to promote the new product.
